Description:

Client is seeking an experienced SAP BODS (BusinessObjects Data Services) Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ETL processes, data migration, and data integration using SAP BODS, along with solid SQL and SAP HANA experience. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing data flows to support business intelligence, reporting, and enterprise data management initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using SAP BODS for data migration, integration, and transformation.

Work closely with business and technical teams to analyze requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.

Perform data extraction, cleansing, validation, and loading from multiple source systems (SAP and non-SAP).

Develop and optimize BODS jobs, workflows, and dataflows to ensure efficiency and accuracy.

Collaborate with SAP HANA and BI teams to ensure seamless data integration into reporting environments.

Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues in ETL processes and optimize job performance.

Ensure compliance with data governance, quality, and security standards.

Prepare technical documentation, including design specifications, test cases, and support guides.

Provide production support and monitor daily data loads, ensuring timely issue resolution. Required Skills & Experience:

5+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP BODS Consultant in implementation, support, and migration projects.

Strong knowledge of ETL design, data migration, and integration using SAP BODS.

Experience with data modeling, SQL, stored procedures, and database optimization.

Exposure to SAP HANA, ECC, and S/4HANA data structures and integration points.

Good understanding of data quality management (DQM) concepts and implementation in BODS.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Nice-to-Have Skills:

Experience with SAP Data Intelligence or other modern data integration tools.

Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for data integration.

Familiarity with reporting tools (SAP BO, Tableau, Power BI).

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Education & Certification:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

SAP BODS certification preferred.
