Location: Downtown Columbus, OH (Onsite 5x/week)

8+ years SAS Enterprise BI administration, 2+ years SAS Viya, strong SAS architecture/deployment on multi-tier platforms, AIX scripting, server patching/maintenance, SAS security & provisioning, SQL (Oracle/MS SQL), and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities / Key Skills:

This is a technical SAS administration role requiring experience in managing SAS environments, deployments, and integrations. The candidate will:

Design SAS solutions (SAS Viya, EBI) considering infrastructure, file structure, and high availability

Implement SAS solutions based on agreed architecture/design

Coordinate SAS projects across server, storage, and networking teams

Guide and support SAS users in code and report development

Prepare and execute deployment plans across Dev, Test, and Prod

Provide SAS server support: user administration, monitoring, capacity management, troubleshooting

Automate processing jobs and ensure data sharing with internal/external systems

Perform system maintenance, patches, upgrades, and backups

Monitor SAS Enterprise BI servers and troubleshoot performance issues

Create and run AIX scripts and jobs for server provisioning and administration

Provide management reports from SAS server and AIX OS

Ensure compliance with security policies and governance procedures Required Skills:

8+ years SAS Enterprise BI Server administration

2+ years SAS Viya platform administration

8+ years installing SAS BI server on multi-tier platforms

4+ years creating/running AIX scripts and jobs

4+ years performing server patching and maintenance

Strong knowledge of SAS architecture, provisioning, and security

Familiarity with SQL in Oracle/MS SQL

Good with Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Word

Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills

BS/BA degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience) Desired Skills:

Leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and in teams

Strong documentation and reporting skills

Familiarity with Windows and Linux/AIX

Experience with SAS AUTH provisioning, LDAP/AD groups

Knowledge of networking, firewalls, and troubleshooting performance issues
