Python AWS Developer About the Role We are seeking a Senior Application Developer to support the Capital Markets Tech Debt Acceleration Project, a strategic initiative focused on modernizing core systems, enhancing security, and improving operational resilience.

This role will involve contributing to multiple subprojects, including Autosys Migration, Vulnerability Management, Java Upgrade Framework, and Resiliency Test Automation.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on development experience with Python and Java, deep knowledge of modern AWS services, and exposure to emerging AI/ML technologies.

This is a hybrid position, requiring 3 days onsite at RTC each week.

Required Skills & Experience • 10+ years of software development experience across enterprise-level systems.

• Strong proficiency with Python (including packaging and dependency management: pip, setup.py, pyproject.toml). • Demonstrated experience with AWS services (ECS, Lambda, S3, SQS, SNS). • Skilled in building HTTP-based APIs with frameworks like FastAPI or Flask.

• Proficiency in integrating with HTTP-based services using libraries like requests.

• Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and best practices.

• Strong knowledge of programming languages, application servers, and database servers used in enterprise applications.

Nice to Have • Exposure to LangChain or other AI/ML frameworks.

• Experience with MCP (Model Control Plane) concepts or related orchestration technologies.

• Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD practices to support scalability and modernization efforts.

• Prior experience in financial services or heavily regulated industries.
