Overview:

Nestled in the heart of Columbus' historic German Village, Sycamore is an all-day café and restaurant. Join our team of passionate hospitality professionals committed to delivering exceptional food, beverage, and service in a casual, yet elegant, environment. For this position, we are seeking a friendly, guest-focused candidate that can thrive in a positive work environment and deliver on high standards with enthusiasm.

Responsibilities:

Greeting guests in a friendly, warm manner

Provide accurate wait times, monitor waiting list, and manage reservations

Assist service staff when necessary

Provide patrons with menus and escort to their table

Seat customers quickly and efficiently to enhance the quality of their experience

Follow all safety and sanitation procedures as well as restaurant protocols

Qualifications:

Exceptional verbal communication and professionalism

Customer service-oriented

Basic computer literacy

Able to work long shifts on occasion (10+ hours)

Available to work nights/weekends/select holidays
