5+ years as Systems Analyst with Manhattan OMS, Vertex O Series/Avalara, SFCC, REST/SOAP APIs, middleware/iPaaS, JSON/XML, Postman/SOAPUI, Agile/Scrum (JIRA/Confluence, Git), requirements gathering, functional documentation, integration testing, retail order lifecycle, taxation logic, and strong analytical & communication skills.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Systems Analyst to collaborate with business stakeholders, solution architects, and development teams to design, document, and analyze tax and OMS business processes. The analyst will define and validate integrations between Manhattan OMS, Vertex O Series, and SFCC to ensure seamless order flow and accurate tax calculation.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and validate tax rules, jurisdictions, exemptions, and returns processing in Vertex.

Participate in integration design sessions; create functional and technical documentation.

Translate business requirements into detailed specifications for development teams.

Support SIT/UAT testing, debug defects, and coordinate issue resolution across teams.

Ensure data integrity and consistency between OMS, SFCC, Vertex, and downstream systems like ERP (SAP).

Assist in end-to-end process documentation and operational handover materials.

Provide post-go-live support, defect triage, and production issue analysis.

Evaluate integration performance, identify bottlenecks, and recommend optimizations.

Ensure compliance with tax regulations and order flow requirements.

Conduct knowledge sessions, training, and walkthroughs for business users and support teams. Required Qualifications:

5+ years as a Systems Analyst, preferably in Retail, eCommerce, or OMS implementations.

Hands-on experience with Manhattan OMS and Vertex O Series (Cloud/SaaS) or similar tax engines (Avalara, Thomson Reuters).

Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, middleware/iPaaS, and integration mapping.

Strong skills in requirements gathering, functional documentation, and process flow design.

Familiarity with JSON, XML, and integration testing tools (Postman, SOAPUI).

Understanding of retail order lifecycle, taxation logic, and payment flows.

Agile/Scrum experience with JIRA/Confluence and version control tools (Git).

Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams (developers, QA, infrastructure, vendors).
