Job Requirements for Legacy Mixed-Stack Developer (Classic ASP/VB.NET/C#)

Required Skills

Classic ASP - maintaining legacy .asp files with VBScript

jQuery, Bootstrap 3, JavaScript/HTML/CSS

VB.NET and C# (.NET Framework 4.5-4.6.2)

SOAP, WCF legacy web services

Oracle Database with ADO.NET

Oracle PL/SQL: packages, procedures, functions

Relational Data modeling / Schema design

Legacy codebase expertise - must be comfortable independently troubleshooting and learning complex, non-standard codebases with custom frameworks, minimal documentation, and extensive technical debt Key Tools

Visual Studio 2019+

Oracle SQL Developer (VSCode extension)

Team Foundation Version Control (TFVC) and Git source control with Azure DevOps

Telerik Web UI components and legacy web controls
