As a Service Advisor Level 2 at Community Automotive Repair, you can expect a dynamic and engaging work environment. Your daily responsibilities will include greeting customers in a friendly manner, assessing their automotive needs, and providing accurate information regarding services and repairs. You will facilitate communication between customers and technicians, ensuring all details are clearly understood and expectations met. Daily tasks will involve scheduling appointments, managing service timelines, and following up with clients to ensure satisfaction with our customer service. You’ll also handle any inquiries and resolve concerns effectively.

Your workweek will be Monday through Friday, adhering to standard business hours from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. This structured schedule allows you to focus on delivering exceptional service while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. To excel as a Service Advisor Level 2 at Community Automotive Repair, several key skills and qualifications are essential. You should have 2–5 years of professional automotive service advising experience, allowing you to navigate customer interactions confidently. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and multi-line phone systems is necessary for effectively managing communications and documentation.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are vital, as you'll be the primary point of contact for customers, guiding them through the service process. Additionally, strong sales and math skills are crucial for accurately processing pricing and markups. An ASE Service Consultant certification is preferred to enhance your credibility in the automotive field.

A valid driver’s license is required for test drives and customer service visits. Finally, you must be adept at managing approximately 30 repair orders simultaneously, ensuring a smooth workflow and timely customer updates. Being organized and detail-oriented will support your success in this role.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
