Seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Security Engineer to support and strengthen our client's enterprise security environment. This role is responsible for driving network security strategy, implementing advanced security solutions, and ensuring a secure, scalable, and compliant infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Lead the design and implementation of network security architecture and long-term security roadmap
Manage and enhance enterprise security technologies including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and cloud security platforms
Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for deployment and configuration of new security solutions
Monitor network activity, systems, and logs using SIEM and vulnerability management tools
Support compliance initiatives, risk assessments, and enforcement of security policies
Oversee core network services such as domain controllers and DHCP
Contribute to system upgrades, integrations, and security-focused projects
Maintain clear documentation of configurations and procedures
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance
Participate in on-call rotation as required Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in IT, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
10+ years of overall IT experience, with at least 5+ years in network security
Hands-on experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint security, IAM, and authentication protocols
Strong understanding of networking protocols including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VPN, LAN/WAN/WLAN
Experience managing large-scale environments with 20+ enterprise firewalls
Proficiency in cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS
Experience with SaaS platforms like Salesforce, Workday, and Office 365 Preferred
Expertise in cloud security and zero-trust architecture
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
