About the Role

We are seeking an AWS/DevOps Systems Engineer to join a large healthcare insurance organization. This role involves building and supporting automation services across AWS cloud infrastructure and CI/CD platforms. Candidate must be comfortable with hybrid work in the DMV area and available for weekend support (once per month).

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/Groovy).

Automate deployments using Python, Bash, AWS CloudFormation.

Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS (VPC, EC2, EKS, CloudWatch, etc.).

Support container orchestration with Kubernetes (EKS), Podman.

Collaborate with Dev, DB, Security, and IT teams on cloud and infrastructure solutions.

Troubleshoot and monitor Linux/Windows production environments.

Support disaster recovery, audits, and change management processes. Qualifications

Bachelor's in IT or 5+ years of DevOps/Cloud Systems Engineering experience.

Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash).

Expertise with CI/CD pipelines, AWS services, Kubernetes, and Git.

Hands-on experience with server, network, storage, and security in enterprise IT.

Knowledge of Spring Boot Java apps a plus.

Strong problem-solving and cross-team collaboration skills.
