Primary Responsibilities:

Assemble molds based on specifications provided by the team lead

Fit and function mold components to tight tolerances

Perform spotting to ensure precise component alignment Install and test hot and cold runner systems

Disassemble molds for repairs or maintenance

Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area

Safely operate overhead cranes and forklifts to move molds

Follow all safety protocols and procedures as outlined by the company, OSHA, and ISO standards

Support team workloads by working scheduled hours

Qualifications & Skills:

Strong mechanical aptitude and keen attention to detail

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Owns hand tools, grinders, and precision measuring instruments

Comfortable lifting up to 1-75 lbs and working on your feet for extended periods

Capable of climbing ladders and working around large equipment

Clear communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Positive, respectful attitude toward coworkers and the company

Willingness to follow safety procedures and complete required training

MM&D specializes in Injection Molds and Design but is fully capable of designing and manufacturing Casting Dies and Trim Tools, Extrusion Dies, Assembly Machines, Stamping Dies, and Precision Replacement Tooling. Our team can custom design the mold for you from concept with our modeling capability, or even help you with rebuilding and repairing a die that has been in production for years. We are setup with several companies on rotating preventative maintenance and would love to add yours to it.
