Manage lines and cables to secure crane rigs to and from barges/vessels

Conduct inspections of cables and rigging components on the crane deck

Perform minor maintenance on equipment and machinery

Provide directional signals to crane operators

Lubricate crane buckets

Assist in drafting barges

Operate barge covers

Perform general rigging and shifting of barges

Ensure cleanliness and safety standards on decks, barges, and ship holds

Work with hand tools

Perform painting and general upkeep of the crane rig

Maintain crane shack/quarters

Report incidents through company’s reporting protocol

Support company safety initiativesQualifications

Knowledge of crane operations and maintenance preferred

Experience with hand tools

Ability to work effectively in a team environment
