About the Role:

Join OTTERBECK BUILDERS INC as a Lead Carpenter and take the next step in your career! We are looking for a skilled professional to lead our construction projects with precision and expertise while working alongside a dedicated team in Castleton On Hudson, NY.

Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage carpentry projects from start to finish, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship.

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications accurately.

Supervise and mentor junior carpenters and apprentices on job sites.

Coordinate with subcontractors and other trades to ensure project timelines are met.

Perform framing, roofing, and finishing work with attention to detail.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.

Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.

Communicate effectively with clients to address their needs and provide updates.Requirements:

Minimum of 6 years of carpentry experience in residential or commercial construction.

Proven leadership skills with experience managing a team.

Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction best practices.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.

Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
