Description
Under the general direction of the ADRC Program Manager. Pickup and delivery of bulk food, delivering home delivered meals. Hours: hours vary by position substituting for; day, Monday through Friday, excepting holidays.
Examples of Duties
Deliver home delivered.
Meal prep. (If substituting in the kitchen.)
Follow proper sanitation and safe food handling practices.
Collect meal donations from home delivered meal participants and turn donations into the site manager.
Record the number of meals delivered to each participant on Route sheet.
Report on any illness, accidents, or unsafe conditions observed at homes of home delivered participants.
Responsible for putting gas in Senior Services vehicle at Rusk County Highway garage and scheduling routine maintenance. Must report any problems with vehicle or need for repairs to ADRC Program Manager.
Must attend training sessions and meetings as scheduled by the ADRC Program Manager.
Typical Qualifications
Valid Wisconsin Driver's License.
Good physical condition: Ability to lift and carry 50-100 pounds.
Good knowledge of safety and sanitation regulations relating to the serving of food.
Ability to follow directions.
Dependability, tact and courtesy.
Ability to work within time constraints.
