Interested candidates should be excited to work alongside GACTC's instructional staff to share their knowledge of the functions of an Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA). In this part-time position, the individual will demonstrate knowledge of safe work practices in the dental setting and be able to perform and teach the functions of an EFDA.
Responsibilities include assisting in student supervision, ensuring safe operation of equipment, and reinforcing the instructor's lessons.
The schedule of the part-time EFDA program is typically 12 consecutive Saturdays from 11 am to 6 pm, although the hours may vary.
The position requires a current EFDA license for Pennsylvania and at least 2 years of experience as an EFDA.
This is a part-time, as-needed, hourly position.
