Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and skilled General Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of mechanical equipment. The ideal candidate has strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and hands-on experience with mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment (e.g., oil changes, brake work, engine diagnostics)
Inspect mechanical components to identify issues and determine appropriate solutions
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems
Repair or replace defective parts using proper tools and techniques
Conduct safety inspections and ensure equipment meets operational standards
Maintain accurate service records and documentation
Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations
Communicate effectively with supervisors and customers regarding repairs and timelines
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred)
Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar role
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment
Basic computer skills for record-keeping and diagnostics
Valid driver’s license (CDL may be a plus, depending on role)
