Duties:
Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service that enhances their overall experience.
Manage multiple orders efficiently using POS systems such as Toast POS or ensuring accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and bar equipment, following food safety and sanitation standards.
Monitor guest intoxication levels responsibly; refuse service when necessary to promote safety.
Restock bar supplies regularly to ensure availability of ingredients and beverages during busy periods.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to deliver seamless service.
Uphold all food handling and safety regulations in compliance with health standards.
Promote sales by suggesting drink options and upselling specialty cocktails and wine bottles to enhance revenue opportunities.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments or banquet settings is highly preferred.
Knowledge of POS system- Toast POS familiarity with retail math and cash handling procedures.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism.
Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods using solid time management skills.
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques.
Experience with serving alcohol responsibly in accordance with legal regulations; certification in responsible alcohol service is a plus.
Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and sales calculations; familiarity with retail math is advantageous.
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and special event days in a fast-paced environment.
