Corporate Controller (Hands On) - Bethesda, MD

We are seeking a hands on Corporate Controller to lead accounting operations in a growing government contracting environment. This is a true player coach role for an experienced GovCon leader who can both drive strategy and personally manage complex accounting within Deltek Costpoint.

Key Responsibilities of the Corporate Controller

- Own the General Ledger and personally lead month end and year end close

- Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations (GAAP/FAR compliant)

- Oversee AP, AR, payroll, and job cost accuracy

- Calculate and monitor Fringe, Overhead, and G&A rates

- Prepare financial statements, flux analysis, and executive reporting

Qualifications for the Corporate Controller

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

- 10+ years accounting experience, including 7+ years in GovCon

- Expert level Deltek Costpoint experience required

- Strong working knowledge of FAR, CAS, GAAP, and GovCon compliance

- Hands on mindset with the ability to operate at an executive level
