Job Title: Pharmacy Technician (Part-Time, Afternoons/Evenings)

Schedule: Monday–Friday 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to providing excellent support to pharmacists and outstanding service to patients.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday

2:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications

Accurately enter prescription information into the pharmacy system

Process insurance claims and resolve billing issues

Manage inventory, restock medications, and monitor expiration dates

Provide courteous and professional customer service

Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations

Qualifications:

Active Pharmacy Technician license/registration (as required by state)

Previous pharmacy experience preferred (retail or long-term care)

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a team environment

Preferred Skills:

Experience with pharmacy management software

Knowledge of insurance adjudication and prior authorizations
