Pay: $18.50/hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Shift: 1st Shift

PeopleShare is partnering with a well-established paper manufacturing company to hire a Machine Operator / Machinist for their production team. This role focuses on operating and maintaining paper-processing machinery to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production.Responsibilities

Operate paper production and converting machinery (cutters, rollers, slitters, rewinders, or similar equipment)

Monitor machines during operation to ensure proper function and quality output

Perform basic machine adjustments, setups, and changeovers

Inspect finished paper products for accuracy, defects, and quality standards

Read job specifications, work orders, and production instructions

Perform routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance

Follow all safety and GMP guidelines in a manufacturing environmentRequirements

Experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment preferred (paper, packaging, printing, or converting a plus)

Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot minor machine issues

Ability to read measurements and use basic measuring tools

Strong attention to detail and quality

Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
