Fabrication Assistant

Job Description

We work with several metal fabrication and manufacturing shops across central Ohio, and we're hiring experienced Fabrication Technicians for temp-to-hire opportunities with our clients. The work varies by site, everything from mechanical assembly for power, medical, tech, telecom, and food industry projects to general fabrication support. This is a role for someone who's mechanically inclined, takes pride in clean assembly work, and wants a steady seat with a growing team. Multiple shifts available, with schedule details covered in your interview.

What we're looking for:

- Knowledge and experience in mechanical assembly within a manufacturing environment

- Ability to read and accurately interpret prints and schematics

- Mechanically inclined, with hands-on experience using power, air, and hand tools (including riveting)

- Experience applying silicone and butyl sealants, gaskets, and similar materials

- Comfortable lifting 10 to 75 lbs regularly

- Able to stand, squat, bend, reach, pull, and push throughout the full shift

- High attention to detail and fine tactile ability

- Strong organizational skills

- Good Communication

- Reliable transportation

- Able to pass a background check and drug screen
