Direct Counsel is seeking a Junior Corporate Associate Attorney to join a highly respected Am Law firm.

About the Role
Direct Counsel is partnering with a leading Am Law firm to identify a junior corporate associate to join its nationally recognized corporate practice in Seattle. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career attorney to gain hands-on experience advising high-growth companies and working on a variety of sophisticated corporate transactions.
Key Responsibilities
Support financings, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate matters for public and private companies
Assist in drafting and reviewing transaction documents and corporate governance materials
Conduct due diligence and support deal execution
Work closely with senior attorneys and clients on strategic corporate initiatives
Provide day-to-day legal support to emerging growth companies
Qualifications
1–2 years of general corporate experience
Experience representing high-growth or emerging companies is preferred
Background in financings, M&A, or general corporate work
Experience at a national or international law firm strongly preferred
Strong academic credentials from a nationally recognized law school
Excellent drafting, analytical, and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Requirements
J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
Active bar admission in Washington or ability to become licensed
Compensation & Benefits
This position offers a competitive salary range of $225,000 – $235,000, commensurate with experience, skills, and location. The firm also provides a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), generous paid time off, parental leave, and additional wellness and family support benefits.
