JOB DETAILS

Base Pay: $18.00 - 19.00 per hour

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday (3:30PM-12:00AM)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a motivated and experienced forklift operator to join our shipping team! This position facilitates staging, loading, and material handling used in the process of preparing steel fabrication product mix for shipment. The ideal candidate will have a thorough knowledge of loading techniques and have high attention to detail.

Perform the required duties with the safety of self, fellow dock workers and the receiving parties in mind and quality as the top priority

Required to scan all products loaded into truck 100%

Report any safety or quality concerns to Supervisor or Plant Manager immediately

Unload and load trucks and trailersQualifications

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)

A minimum of one (1) year of related work experience in manufacturing or a comparable work environment

A minimum of one (1) year of forklift operation

Overhead crane experience is a plus

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Comfort and familiarity with power hand tools

Willingness to train, certify and operate forklift and overhead crane

Ability to work effectively to meet deadlines

Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment

General mathematical knowledge and proficiency with basic measuring instruments
