Machine Operator

Job Description

We work with manufacturers across central Ohio who need skilled Machine Operators, and we're hiring for temp-to-hire opportunities with our clients. The work covers packaging lines, production equipment, and general machine operation, with specifics varying by client. This is a role for someone with hands-on machinery experience who takes pride in keeping a line running safely and efficiently. Multiple shifts available, including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, with schedule details covered in your interview.

What you'll be doing (varies by client):

- Operating packaging or production equipment

- Performing quality checks and completing quality documentation

- Handling changeovers and keeping equipment stocked

- Coordinating raw materials and verifying proper code dating

- Assisting mechanics with repairs when the line is down

- Maintaining production efficiency and housekeeping standards

- Providing accurate production and quality reports

What we're looking for:

- Prior experience operating machinery or packaging equipment

- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

- Basic math skills

- Forklift certification a plus (or willingness to train and certify)

- Safety-minded approach to equipment and work area

- Comfortable lifting up to 25 lbs

- Good Communication

- Reliable transportation

- Able to pass a background check and drug screen
