Animal Health Center, a thriving AAHA Accredited Veterinary Practice in Watertown, is in search of an enthusiastic CVT to join the team!
Primary Responsibilities
As a Certified Veterinary Technician in our practice, you will be counted on to help keep pets healthy by performing all the things your education and experience has prepared you for!
Performing laser therapy treatments
Calculate dosages and verify calculations of others for checks and balances
Take x-rays
Conducting dental prophylaxes
Preparing, monitoring, and recovering surgical patients
Blood draws, catheter placements, and other customary technical responsibilities
Qualifications

Strong surgical skills required and experience with or an interest in dentals is preferred.
Tech savvy with a sincere appreciation for the ways technology makes work more efficient.
Outgoing with a passion for great client communication.

Hours & Availability
This is a full-time opening! Your availability should align with the following hours:
Mondays 7:30 am to 6:00 pm
Tuesdays 7:30 am to 5:00 pm
Wednesdays 7:30 am to 12:00 pm
Thursdays 10:30 am to 8:00 pm
Fridays 7:30 am to 5:00 pm
The practice is closed on Saturdays and Sundays, but we do very rarely need to take turns caring for hospitalized pets on the weekends.
Compensation
The starting pay rate is approximately $20 per hour, but pay will be dependent upon your level of experience! Animal Health Center is committed to setting rates of pay that are competitive and reflect the education, experience, knowledge, and skills of the valuable team members who serve the pets in our care.
