MS-IL Staffing & Packaging and its local clients are NOW HIRING for 1st shift Warehouse Shipping Associate in the Plainfield IN, area!

Position: Warehouse Associate

Shift: Monday to Friday 10:30am to 7pm

Location: Plainfield

Summary of Position: In a warehouse environment, perform a variety of activities related to the storage and shipping of raw material and/or finished product to support the overall operation and exceed customer expectations.

Key Accountabilities:

Perform sorting, stacking, cleaning, washing, stocking and inspection of cartons, pallets, or parts as assigned to support the operation

Assist in filling and packaging orders and completing paperwork according to instructions

Operate cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment to move/deliver stock

Assist machine operators with a variety of functions as required to support the operation

Perform general clean-up activities

Maintain all equipment in working condition; report issues or breakdowns to Supervisor or Lead immediately

Train others when required

Participate, support, and comply with all health, safety, quality, compliance and Lean initiatives, requirements, and/or trainings

Ability to access and work in SAP or other Warehouse Management System

Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent

Ability to read, write, and speak and understand fluent English

Ability to perform basic math

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs

Basic computer skills

Ability to use and understand scanning technology

Meet ITAR compliance – US Citizen, US Person or Granted Asylum

Preferred requirements:

Previous warehouse experience

Ability to use hand-held measuring tools

Proficiency with the computer beyond the basic level.
