MS-IL Staffing & Packaging and our local client are NOW HIRING a 1st Shift Warehouse Associate in the Plainfield, IN area!

Position: Warehouse Associate

Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Pay: $18.50/hour

Location: Plainfield, IN

Position Summary

This role supports daily warehouse operations by handling, storing, and preparing materials for shipment. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Sort, stack, clean, wash, inspect, and stock cartons, pallets, or parts

Pick, pack, and prepare orders according to instructions

Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts or cranes (as required)

Assist machine operators and support production as needed

Perform general warehouse cleaning and organization

Maintain equipment and report any issues to supervisors

Complete required paperwork and system entries (SAP or WMS)

Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures, including Lean initiatives

Train team members when needed

Minimum Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent

Ability to read, write, and communicate in English

Basic math skills

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs

Basic computer and scanning system knowledge

Must meet ITAR compliance requirements (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Person, or granted asylum)

Preferred Qualifications

Previous warehouse experience

Experience using handheld measuring tools

Strong computer skills beyond basic use

Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
