Injection Molding Process Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Injection Molding Process Technician to join our production team. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting injection molding machines to ensure efficient production and high-quality plastic parts.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate injection molding machines (Shibaura preferred)

Monitor and adjust machine parameters (temperature, pressure, cycle time)

Troubleshoot equipment and processes to minimize downtime

Read and interpret blueprints and technical documents

Perform quality inspections using measuring tools and visual checks

Support process improvements and corrective actions

Assist with PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) submissions

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Qualifications

Prior experience with injection molding machines required

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Ability to read blueprints and technical documents

Experience with ISO 9001 / ISO 13485 (preferred)

PPAP and/or IATF 16949 experience is a plus

Strong attention to detail and quality

Good communication and teamwork skills

Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills

Injection Molding Experience

Blow Molding Experience

Tool/Die/Mold Setup Experience

Blueprint Reading
