DevOps Engineer

Job Description

Manifest Solutions is currently seeking a DevOps Engineer for a hybrid position in Columbus, OH.

Provide production and development support for online software products and internal tooling in a collaborative, fast-paced environment

Focus on standardized AWS deployment automation.

Ensure appropriate metrics, monitoring, and alerting are implemented for application components

Identify opportunities to simplify workflows and reduce manual effort

Develop new tools and automation to support evolving needs

Partner closely with development, infrastructure, and security teams to deliver stable, scalable, and secure solutions

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

2+ years in a DevOps role

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Passion for professional development, both on the job and independently

Willingness to expand skill sets and take on new responsibilities as needed

Required:

Experience building and supporting enterprise applications with automated builds, CI pipelines, and deployments in private or public cloud environments

Experience architecting and operating in AWS environments using CDK, EC2, S3, ECS, VPC, and TypeScript

Strong focus on automation and repeatable, scalable solutions

Nice to have:

Kubernetes

MarkLogic

Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, Bash

Maintaining observability tools like Elasticsearch, Filebeat, and Grafana
