New York University (NYU) Berlin is seeking a full-time Program Administrator, Student Life for the Academic Center, Prenzlauer Berg.\n\nPOSITION SUMMARY\n\nThe position of Program Administrator, Student Life is a full-time position at NYU Berlin's Academic Center located in the Kulturbrauerei in Prenzlauer Berg, Berlin. The Program Administrator, Student Life works directly with the Program Manager, Student Life, and the Coordinator of Student Services at NYU Berlin to provide administrative support for a wide range of services in the areas of student programming, communication, student conduct, immigration advising, registration with the German authorities, residential life services, safety and wellness, emergency response, as well as a number of immersive community projects. This is a 2-year fixed term role.\n\nPRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES\n\nGeneral Administrative Support - Student Services (60%)\n\nProvide comprehensive administrative support to the Program Manager, Student Life and other staff.\n\nUtilize NYU's housing management system to execute assignments, manage room changes, and record any additional charges for loss or damage.\n\nAdvise student leaders and oversee local volunteering initiatives to foster community engagement.\n\nAct as a primary resource for students navigating the German healthcare system, coordinating appointments with local medical providers and advising on insurance coverage.\n\nDocument incidents within the student community, such as student conduct cases, and facilitate conflict resolution opportunities.\n\nOther tasks as assigned by the Program Manager, Student Life and the Coordinator of Student Services.\n\nSupport of Extracurricular Programming (15%)\n\nAssist in the planning and organization of immersive student programming, including orientation, on-campus workshops and seminars, excursions in the city, as well as trips.\n\nAccompany students on day- and weekend-trips (2-4 trips a semester).\n\nStudent Safety and Wellness (15%)\n\nParticipate in the on-duty/on-call rotational emergency response and be available to respond to crises during scheduled evenings, weekends, and public holidays.\n\nKnow University/community resources and make appropriate referrals\n\nParticipate in Wellness training seminars and diversity workshops.\n\nAssist in the creation of manuals covering safety-related information and general travel advisories.\n\nCommunication (10%)\n\nEnsure effective communication to students on all matters related to student services.\n\nAssist in the production of material for the weekly Student Newsletter.\n\nProduce and regularly update the NYU Berlin internal resource page.\n\nPOSITION QUALIFICATIONS\n\nRequired Education\n\nSuccessful completion of a university degree.\n\nRequired Experience\n\n2-3 years work experience, incl.
