Arctic Cat, the most iconic name in powersports, is hiring a PARTS BOOK COORDINATOR to fill a critical role on our Publications team. This is an onsite position based in Thief River Falls, MN.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Compare Engineering BOMs with similar product to obtain common data.

Perceptive and knowledgeable of the requirements for complete illustrations related to part assemblies, part lists and their usage in the parts books and manuals.

Interpret Engineering drawings for illustration purposes which best communicates the concept.

Identify service parts and assemblies as specified in the BOM to assure proper parts and sequence in the illustration.

Complete necessary edits triggered by ECNs to new and existing parts manuals in Data Manager.

Ensure parts manual accuracy through utilization of BOM comparison and physical audits.

Gather and coordinate the necessary material or information to create the required illustrations to be used in published materials.

Verify parts manual with Engineering BOMs.

Gather and coordinate all descriptive data required to be used in conjunction with illustrations.

Prepare parts lists and illustrations for assemblies, weldments, etc. for parts manual entry into Data Manager.

Work cross-functionally with service parts, engineering, manufacturing, warranty to determine parts manual content.

Use illustrating software and computer systems to create visually appealing content.

Make necessary changes to work-in-progress or previously released illustrations. Written notification may be required to inform appropriate personnel or department of such changes so proper action can be taken.

Prepare drawings/illustrations for Technical Publications as required.

Restrict confidential material from being expressed in written, pictorial or verbal form without proper authorization.

Participate in and encourage the highest level of quality, efficiency and professionalism.

Requirements:

Education: High school graduate plus trade, technical, or college training in technical illustration or have an equivalent level of understanding.

Years of Experience: Two or more years of experience in technical illustration.

Software knowledge: Microsoft Excel, Word, ISODraw, NX Unigraphics or comparable CAD or AutoCAD systems for illustrating purposes.

Familiar with all graphic reproduction processes for proper creation of illustrations.

Ability to learn in depth SAP system and Data Manager system.

Knowledge or general understanding of service parts.

Ability to effectively communicate with colleagues as a team player.

Ability to multitask through multiple projects at any time.
