Geotechnical Engineer for Underground Operations

As a key member of the Underground Operations team, you will report to the Engineering Superintendent. The role emphasizes collaboration with Geology and Mine Operations to achieve production goals while upholding Health & Safety standards. Your expertise in geotechnical engineering will guide the implementation and execution of innovative solutions within the mining environment.

Key Responsibilities: • Develop Underground Ground Control Management Plan • Perform support design for development and production • Prepare engineering prints for ground support installation • Establish quality control programs for installations • Mentor Mine Technicians in geotechnical practices

Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering • 5+ years in underground mine engineering • Eligible for Professional Engineering designation in Ontario • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Deswik CAD • Strong English communication skills
