Lake Title is seeking an experienced title agent to join our growing team.

$70,000 - $100,000 yearly

Responsibilities:

Prepare closing statements after reviewing all closing documents to ensure all title commitments have been met, issue the title policy, and transfer the title to the new owner

Work effectively throughout the closing process with a variety of industry professionals, such as real estate agents, settlement agents, title insurance agents, law firms, escrow officers, closing agents, paralegals, and escrow companies

Verify there are no real estate title defects or title issues such as liens, wills, claims, deeds, mortgages, or fraud once the property search is complete

Ensure all legal documents at the county and federal levels have been recorded, and present the deed to the new owners

Facilitate title search and prepare title abstract and title opinion

Qualifications:

Insurance Producer License and Notary are required - Closer license is a bonus

Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite

The ideal candidate will be process-driven, highly analytical, and detail-oriented, with excellent communication skills

A high school diploma is a requirement, but a college degree is preferred

3-5 years of experience in title closing, title examiner, abstractor, or closing services is required
