Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator/Material handler

Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable Warehouse Associate to support warehouse operations during a temporary conveyor setup in the refrigerated area. In this role, associates will manually handle totes, scan items, and ensure they are routed to the correct warehouse location. The position involves order fulfillment, stocking, receiving, and shipping while maintaining accuracy, safety, and efficiency in daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

Handle totes and scan items to determine the correct warehouse location during temporary conveyor operations.

Receive, verify, and store incoming merchandise against receiving documentation.

Pick items from shelves and place them into totes for order fulfillment and shipment.

Stock and replenish shelves while ensuring proper stock rotation (FIFO).

Process returns, perform data entry, and return items to the correct storage location.

Assist with inventory control including daily counts and discrepancy research.

Prepare and stage customer orders for outbound shipping.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment to prevent injuries and product damage.

Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and DEA regulations.

Support physical inventory activities and work overtime when required.

Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth warehouse workflow.

Required Qualifications

Previous warehouse or distribution center experience preferred.

Ability to read and understand English for product descriptions, labels, and instructions.

Basic computer and scanning system knowledge preferred (PkMS/WMS experience is a plus).

Basic math skills for counting and inventory tasks.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to follow detailed instructions and use good judgment.

Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to maintain consistent attendance and reliability.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift, move, and handle warehouse totes and merchandise.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.

Comfortable working in a refrigerated warehouse environment.
