IT Operations Specialist - own Onsite IT (full-time in office)

Location: Simsbury, CT

Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000 per year (depending on experience)

Rhino-Back Roofing is a fast-growing residential roofing company serving CT, RI, and Western MA. We do high-quality work and a high-touch customer experience. Behind that is a 90+ person team running on Salesforce, Google Workspace, CompanyCam, SpotIO, RingCentral, and more.

We're hiring an IT Operations Specialist to be the onsite tech owner in our Simsbury office. No layers of bureaucracy. No ticket factory. Just you, our people, and the systems that keep them moving.

You'll report to our Technology Lead (based in Georgia, remote) who handles advanced Salesforce and engineering work. He's your escalation and project partner. You run the floor.

What You'll Own

Be the primary onsite IT point of contact for our office and field teams

Set up, deploy, recover, and redeploy laptops, phones, and tablets

Own onboarding and offboarding across 10+ SaaS tools (Salesforce, Google Workspace/Gmail, CompanyCam, SpotIO, RingCentral, ADP, etc.)

Work directly with AT&T / Verizon / Comcast on lines, devices, and service issues

Coordinate with our technology leaders when issues need to be escalated

Keep a tight inventory of devices and accessories so new hires are ready on day one

Handle day-to-day support: hardware, software, printers, connectivity

Lock down accounts and devices during employee separations

You're a Fit If...

You have 2-4 years in IT support, helpdesk, desktop support, or IT operations

You're comfortable with both Windows and Mac devices, end to end

You've actually owned onboarding/offboarding and access management before

You like checklists, clean inventory, and closing loops

You can explain tech in plain English to non-technical people

You're comfortable with a remote manager and don't need someone standing over your shoulder

You want to be onsite full-time in Simsbury, CT
