Our client in the auto manufacturing sector is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to support and optimize moulding processes in a high-volume automotive manufacturing environment. This role focuses on process control, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety across production operations.

Responsibilities
Manage daily technical activities of moulding processes, ensuring stable and controlled operations
Execute and support start-up, shutdown, and troubleshooting procedures
Analyze and improve process performance, reducing scrap and optimizing efficiency
Monitor baseline process conditions and ensure all changes are documented and validated
Collaborate with Operations, Quality, and Engineering teams on production improvements
Support trials, process development, and equipment enhancements
Maintain and improve preventative maintenance programs
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement manufacturing systems/processes
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to process technicians
Ensure adherence to safety and housekeeping standards
Requirements
Diploma or degree in Engineering (Technologist/Technician)
3–5 years of experience in automotive manufacturing (preferred)
Strong understanding of moulding processes and industrial equipment
Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting capability
Experience with process control and continuous improvement methodologies
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Effective communication skills across technical and operational teams
