Material Handler

Job Description

Job Summary:

The Material Handler is responsible for entering data, preparing packaging, and staging outbound shipments. This role ensures all inbound and outbound shipments are accurate, properly documented, and free from damage. The Material Handler also supports quality objectives by helping meet customer expectations for In Full On Time (IFOT) delivery.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Stock and store production materials in designated locations

Pick, pack, and fulfill customer orders

Supply production lines with necessary materials

Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently

Assist with new product development activities

Provide guidance and support to warehousing and shipping/receiving staff

Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Strong communication skills

High attention to detail with consistent accuracy

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Comfortable working with numbers and maintaining accuracy

Demonstrates initiative, sound judgment, and problem-solving skills

Forklift certification required

Ability to lift up to 50 lbsCompany Description
