Purpose of Position
The Supervisor, Aircraft Appearance Standards is responsible for the execution of the Aircraft Appearance cleaning events to ensure aircraft mission readiness. These cleaning events include interior/exterior cleanings, brightwork, and sealant programs. The Aircraft Appearance Standards Supervisor will be key in the development and use of standard operating procedures, checklists, reports, and vendor coordination. Additionally, facilitation of initial training for new hires and re-current training for all changes to the Aircraft Appearance Standards programs. This role will report directly to the Service Hub Operations Manager and will supervise a team of coordinators to ensure operational coverage and efficiency.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Supervise the Aircraft Appearance Standards schedule coverage. Including coverage of Aircraft Appearance Standards functions as needed to ensure operational coverage and mission ready aircraft.
Analyze and report key departmental operation trends and report to Management.
Facilitate training for all Aircraft Appearance Standards training. Including new hire training, recurrent training, and vendor training.
Development and execution of standard operating procedures, checklists, reports, and vendor training materials.
Provide exceptional customer service to internal employees and vendors.
