Supply Chain Manager or Director– Beverage Manufacturing

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Supply Chain Manager or Director to lead end to end strategy, execution and continuous improvement of the company’s global supply chain operations. This role oversees forecasting, planning, sourcing of raw and packaging materials, finished goods, inventory control. Daily interaction with manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, sales, finance. The ideal candidate brings deep operational expertise, strong analytical acumen, and a proven track record within a high-volume beverage manufacturing environment, ideally within an organization operating at the $500M–$1B revenue scale.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the full supply chain lifecycle: procurement, material planning, production scheduling, inventory control.
• Manage 1,000 Product ID’s across raw materials, packaging, WIP, and finished goods.
• Source, negotiate, and manage suppliers for raw materials and packaging; ensuring supplier performance aligns with production schedules and customer delivery requirements.
• Develop and execute demand, supply, and material plans to support production schedules and customer requirements.
Build, develop, and lead high-performing cross-functional teams.
Lead organizational design and capability building to support future growth.
• Expert in inventory management systems (SAP, MS Power BI).
• Implement inventory strategies to reduce waste, minimize stockouts, and optimize working capital.
• Partner with production, quality, finance, and commercial teams to align capacity planning and operational priorities.
Requirements
• 10+ years of progressive supply chain experience in beverage manufacturing required as a senior role.
Bachelor's degree required, MBA highly preferred
• Experience working in a large revenue company or similarly complex manufacturing environment.
• Proven success managing over 1000 SKUs portfolios in a fast paced environments
• Strong background in sourcing raw materials and packaging.
• Hands on experience overseeing warehouse operations and inventory control.
• Expertise in material planning, production scheduling, and demand/supply planning.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar).
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and cross functional leadership abilities.
• Knowledge of food/beverage regulatory requirements and quality systems.
Preferred Skills
• Strategic thinker with strong execution capability.
Effective communicator and influencer at executive level
Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement certification.
• Strong financial acumen related to supply chain cost drivers and budgeting.
