Job Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Schedule: Monday–Friday (occasional weekends), start times as early as 6:00 AM

Pay: $32-$49 per hour (based on experience) + overtime

Job Overview

Knox Concrete Construction is seeking an experienced Crew Supervisor to lead and work alongside a small concrete crew. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing daily job site operations, ensuring quality work, maintaining safety standards, and keeping projects on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, supervise, and work alongside a small crew on concrete projects

Assign daily tasks, prioritize work, and ensure timely project completion

Perform and oversee concrete pouring, finishing, and equipment operation

Monitor job site safety and enforce safe work practices

Train team members and provide performance feedback

Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings

Order and manage materials for assigned projects

Maintain accurate job records and work orders

Inspect work to ensure quality and compliance with specifications

Perform basic maintenance on tools, equipment, and company property

Adjust work based on weather conditions and concrete curing requirements

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of construction experience

At least 2 years of supervisory experience

High school diploma or GED

OSHA 10 certification preferred

First Aid certification preferred

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

Experience operating heavy equipment and construction tools

Valid US Drivers License

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 100 lbs

Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions

Frequent bending, lifting, stooping, and standing

Strong manual dexterity and coordination
