Position Overview
Vantage Jobs is offering a practicum placement opportunity for students enrolled in a Human Resources, Business Administration, or related program.
This placement is designed to provide hands-on, supervised learning experience aligned with academic practicum requirements. The student will gain exposure to recruitment processes, employer engagement, and HR coordination in a startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with posting job opportunities and content on LinkedIn and other platforms
Support employer outreach through email communication and follow-ups
Participate in job fairs and networking events (where applicable)
Assist in promoting Vantage Jobs services and building employer relationships
Contribute to candidate sourcing and basic screening activities
Support administrative tasks related to HR and recruitment
Participate in team discussions and provide ideas and suggestions
Learning Objectives & Outcomes
Develop understanding of full-cycle recruitment processes
Gain experience in employer engagement and sourcing strategies
Build communication and professional networking skills
Learn HR coordination and administrative processes
Gain exposure to working in a startup environment
Supervision & Support
The student will receive:
Direct supervision and mentorship from the Founder / Recruitment Consultant
Regular check-ins and guidance
Feedback aligned with academic evaluation requirements
Completion of required practicum evaluations/forms
Eligibility Requirements
Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program (HR, Business, or related field)
Practicum / internship must be a mandatory requirement for academic credit
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Access to a laptop and reliable internet
Valid driver’s license (preferred for hybrid/event participation)
Basic computer proficiency
Interest in Human Resources / Recruitment

This is an unpaid practicum placement offered strictly as part of an academic program.
Candidates must provide confirmation from their educational institution that this placement qualifies for practicum / internship credit.
Work Schedule
Fixed part-time hours, aligned with institutional practicum requirements and/or as needed at the company.
