Network Technical Manager (294347)

Oversee the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of secure, sustainable, and resilient network systems for the MSC Group, including on-premises and Azure cloud environments. Establish and enforce networking standards and best practices, including Azure networking architecture such as Virtual Networks (VNet), ExpressRoute, Virtual WAN, and Azure Firewalls. Administer disaster recovery and business continuity network plans, ensuring high availability and Azure-native resiliency configurations are operational, including safeguarding sensitive data such as customer information, hazardous materials data, and verified gross mass information. Implement and manage multi-vendor enterprise firewall rules and policies, Azure Firewall configurations, F5 load balancer VIPs and pools, and VPN administration to ensure secure and reliable network operations. Monitor network performance and availability, ensuring rapid recovery and restoration of the company’s large-scale network infrastructure across cloud and on-premises environments. Maintain and automate network configurations using Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, custom templates, and PowerShell scripting, overseeing the work of network engineers. Draft and maintain system procedures for production support, including documentation for Azure network configurations, load balancing policies, firewall administration, and conversion of project specifications into detailed flow charts and specification sheets by the infrastructure team. Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, including routing, firewall operations, load balancing behavior, Azure networking components, and cloud migration challenges, leading resolution and recovery efforts as needed. Implement protocol standards, operational enhancements, and automated provisioning templates to improve performance, reliability, and security of both enterprise and Azure-native network environments, while assessing system requirements to support evolving operational and security needs.

Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or as Network Engineer, Technical Specialist or closely related position. Related experience must include experience with: Azure networking architecture and migration, including Virtual Networks (VNet), ExpressRoute, Virtual WAN and Azure Firewalls. Azure Data Explorer, Azure Resource Manager (ARM) Templates, custom templates, and PowerShell scripting. Multi-vendor enterprise firewalls and F5 load balancing solution.
