Overview
Aberdeen Community Theatre is seeking a Scenic Designer / Technical Director to lead the design and execution of scenic and technical elements across multiple productions each season. This is a hands-on role with a clear path to grow into a Technical Director position.

Key Responsibilities
Design and execute scenic elements for mainstage and youth productions
Oversee set construction, painting, and technical build-out
Support lighting and sound design as needed
Manage production timelines to ensure deadlines are met
Provide technical support during rehearsals and performances
Collaborate with staff and lead volunteers throughout the production process
Qualifications
Experience in scenic design, technical direction, or theatre production
Ability to manage projects from concept through execution
Hands-on experience with tools, construction, and stage equipment
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $38,000–$43,000 (based on experience)
