Role Overview:

We are seeking an Accountant to be based in Tajikistan, supporting local financial operations and reporting into the regional finance structure. The role will work closely with the Georgian Finance team and support project and corporate accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and supporting documentation

Handle accounts payable and receivable processes

Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting

Assist in budget preparation and cost tracking for projects

Ensure compliance with local regulations, tax requirements, and company policies

Coordinate with regional finance teams (including Georgia) on reporting and reconciliations

Support audits and financial reviews as required

Assist in payroll coordination and financial administration tasks

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

3-7 years of relevant accounting experience

Experience in a project-based or consultancy environment preferred

Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting

Familiarity with local tax and regulatory requirements in Tajikistan

Good communication skills and the ability to work with regional teams

Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting systems

Fluency in local language; working knowledge of English preferred
