Position: Athletic Director – Climax-Fisher Knights

Districts: Climax-Shelly Public School District #592 & Fisher Independent School District #600

Start Date: July 1, 2026 (or as agreed)

Salary: $7,312

Climax-Shelly School District #592 and Fisher School District #600 are seeking applicants for the Climax-Fisher Knights Athletic Director position. This position serves both districts and provides leadership and oversight for the cooperative Climax-Fisher athletic program. The Athletic Director will also work collaboratively with partner schools involved in cooperative athletic agreements. Responsibilities include:

Provide administrative guidance and oversight for athletic programming

Coordinate game, event, and practice schedules with coaches

Arrange officials and establish conference and league schedules

Coordinate team travel with coaches, schools, and transportation staff

Recruit, supervise, and support coaching staff

Maintain safe and orderly athletic facilities and equipment

Ensure compliance with district policies and Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) rules

Work with administrators to monitor student-athlete eligibility

Develop and manage the athletic department budget

Coordinate responsibilities related to cooperative athletic agreements with Sacred Heart, Riverside Christian, and Crookston Schools Qualifications:

Experience in athletics, coaching, education, or athletic administration preferred

Knowledge of MSHSL rules and regulations preferred
