Position Overview
SCP Health is seeking Board Certified/Board Eligible Emergency Medicine physicians to join its new freestanding emergency department in Lakeland, Florida, anticipated to open in late 2026. This state of the art 12,000 square foot facility will feature 12 ED beds, dedicated fast track rooms, on site diagnostics, and laboratory services, offering high quality emergency care for patients of all ages with a strong pediatric focus and direct connectivity to St. Joseph's Children's Hospital in Tampa.
Physicians will practice within the BayCare integrated system, with seamless access to hospital transfers and affiliation with Bartow Regional Medical Center, supporting continuity of care across the region. This opportunity offers the ability to help launch a new facility in a fast growing community while delivering patient focused, high acuity emergency care in a modern, well resourced setting.
Qualifications
Licensure: Florida License and DEA
Board Certification: Board Certification: BC or BE, ABEM or ABOEM
Badges: ATLS, ACLS and PALS
