Slitter Operator

Job Description

TruBlu HR Solutions is seeking a skilled Slitter Machine Operator for the Baytown, TX 77523 with a minimum of 1 year of experience. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on operational knowledge, including the ability to set up, operate, and troubleshoot slitter machines.

Experience in a pipe manufacturing or heavy industrial environment is highly preferred. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production setting.

Responsibilities:

Set up, operate, and monitor slitter machine operations

Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues as they arise

Ensure material is processed according to specifications and quality standards

Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance

Maintain production speed while ensuring safety and quality compliance

Work collaboratively with production and maintenance teams

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of slitter machine operation experience

Experience in pipe or metal manufacturing preferred

Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
