Job Title: Machine Operator III (Production Team Member)
Location: Bedford Park IL USA 60638
Duration: (3 Months) Contract-to-Hire
Shift: 3rd Shift (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Monday–Friday)
2nd Shift: 3PM – 11PM
Pay Rate For 3rd: $23.92/hour (Overtime applicable)
Pay for 2nd shift: 23.82
Overview
We are seeking motivated and reliable individuals for the role of Machine Operator III. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity offering hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Candidates who demonstrate strong performance, good attendance, and a positive attitude may be considered for permanent placement.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor production machinery in a safe and efficient manner
Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Inspect products to identify and correct quality issues
Perform basic measurements using tools such as tape measures (up to 1/16”)
Maintain production standards and meet daily targets
Perform basic computer tasks related to production tracking
Assist with general production duties as needed
Required Qualifications
Strong communication and listening skills
Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math calculations
Basic computer knowledge
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and navigate stairs for extended periods (8+ hours)
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Flexibility to work overtime, including extended shifts and weekends
Work Schedule & Conditions
Standard 8-hour shifts, up to 6 days per week
Mandatory overtime may include 12-hour shifts or weekend work
On-site interview and facility tour required
