Position Type: Substitute/Security School Monitor Date Posted: 11/18/2025 Location: District Wide Additional Information: Show/Hide QUALIFICATIONS: * High School Diploma or equivalent * Valid New Jersey driver's license * Retired Law Enforcement Officer with a Class A Training Certificate * 20 year Law Enforcement Service or other Certified Retirement * State of New Jersey Certified Retired Law Enforcement permit to carry * Certified experience in Security Field public or private sector * Familiar with Emergency management procedures * CPR, Basic First Aid, and AED Certified * Knowledge of security measures, fire prevention, and crowd control * Aptitude and competence for assigned responsibilities * Ability to maintain order and to work with groups and individuals on matters of security and crisis management * Such alternative to the above qualifications that the Board may find appropriate and acceptable * Qualified culturally diverse and bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

SALARY: $20 PER HOUR
