Custodian – Columbus, OH

Location: Columbus

Pay Rate: $14.50/hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 4:30 AM – 1:00 PM

Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to maintain cleanliness and safety across facility spaces. This role is essential in ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

Responsibilities:

Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, offices, and common areas

Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors

Empty trash and recycling containers

Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper

Dust and wipe down surfaces, furniture, and fixtures

Follow cleaning schedules and safety procedures

Report maintenance or repair needs as identified

Qualifications:

Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred but not required

Ability to work independently and stay on task

Strong attention to detail

Reliable and punctual

Ability to lift up to 25–40 lbs and stand for extended periods
