Stuart Olson is searching for Laborer that is local to the Red Deer area with experience working in a packaging/warehouse facility on an integrated, complex Petro Chemical facility in the Joffre area. Responsibilities

Loading trucks with forklift

Completing billing paperwork

Working in a warehouse or packaging facility

Operating a forklift operator

Working on and around rail cars

Cleaning and inspecting rail cars

Valid driver’s license

Ability to read and understand packaging, shipping documents, and safety guidelines

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Efficient individual with excellent time management skills

Able to work in a high pace environment

Qualifications

Previous warehouse experience is a definite asset

Must have a valid driver’s license

Must have reliable transportation

Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol testing

Safety Tickets

CSTS 2020

Forklift ticket required

Working Conditions

Must be willing and able to work shift work that includes days and nights

Working at heights

Working in and around noise and dust

Working both indoors and outdoors in hot and cold weather conditions

Must be clean shaven

Personal safety equipment will be required, e.g. steel-toed safety boots

Physical Requirements

Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs; occasionally lift items weighing more than 50 lbs. with assistance

Stand or walk for long periods of time

Use arms and hands to reach for, handle or manipulate objects

Climb up and down ladders, scaffolds and other objects
